Julklappsbyxor och annat julstök

Julklappsbyxor nr 2 på gång; randiga manchesterbyxor sydda av tre gamla manchesterbyxor i hopplöst urmodiga modeller som troligtvis ingen skulle vilja ha på sig. Det är bara midjemudd och benmuddar kvar att sy på. Jag tror att jag har rött muddtyg någonstans till benmuddarna och till midjemudden tänker jag använda blå mudd från en tröja. Benmuddar behövs i synnerhet på vintern så att inte byxbenen glider upp när overallen dras på. Den matchande tröjan som jag tänkt sy får vänta till efter jul.

Vårt lilla hus i sten har jag inte målat nå't mer på. Det är inte klart än och inte Tipp-tapp boken heller. Jag har fastnat på " Hur de mysa, hoppa upp bland faten" Har lite svårt att få till tomtarna som klänger sig upp på bordet. Inte min starka sida att rita sådana. Hoppas på att Emmy kan komma till undsättning så småningom

Annars har det mesta julpyntet kommit på plats och jag har också slängt två kassar med julpynt. Jag plockade ner sju(!) banankartonger med julpynt från vinden i lördags. Nu ikväll har Elvin fixat med alla ljusstakar, byt lampor och sett till att allt funkar och så. Till första advent hade vi en stjärna i fönstret, den enda som funkade direkt, uppsatt av Elvin. Fortfarande har jag inte hängt något i fönsterna. Men jag har i alla fall burit tillbaka några tomma julkartonger till vinden. Det som står här och skräpar än är tre lådor med julgranspynt.

Christmas gift pants no.2 at the sewing machine, a redo from three old cord pants which were hopelessly and completely out of date. There's only a cuff in the waist and leg cuffs left to sew on. I think I have red fabric for the legs somewhere and for the waist I plan to use blue cuff from a sweater.
  
Our house painted on a stone is not finished yet and not the illustration for the Christmas song either. I'm still on " How they snuggle, jump up to the dishes"-line.  I have some difficulties getting those gnomes clinging onto the table (tomtar) the way I want them . I'm still hoping for Emmy to help me out on this project.

Otherwise, most of the Christmas decorations are in place and I also threw two bags of Christmas decorations this year. I brought down seven (!) boxes of Christmas decorations from the attic this Saturday. This evening Elvin has worked hard on all electrical candle holders, he has switched lights and made ​​sure that everything works. On the 1:st of Advent, we had a single star in the window, the only one that worked immediately, installed by Elvin . Still , I have not put anything in the windows yet . But I have at least brought back some empty boxes to the attic. What's still left  are three boxes of Christmas decorations for the tree. And some envelopes with decorations for the windows. We ususlly put up our gingerbread cookies as decorations in the kitchen windows. So I'm Hoping for gingerbread baking on Saturday and "lussekatts" baking on Sunday. Then we'll have "lussekatter" for the whole next week to bring out of the fridge when we want to. Lucia is on Friday next week but Timon will have his celebration at preschool on Thursday night.
