{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

*
Throughout the week I've felt grateful for:

  • a  popping, bubbling, growing, enchanting elation throughout the week as moment by moment it seemed more and more likely that a dream would come true
  • the growing confidence it gave me to be actively involved in the progress
  • as luck didn't follow us all the way this week, the experience defined my goals. A once in a lifetime opportunity that never will comeback slipped through our fingers but the defeat gave me something. If my dreams  were somewhat foggy and floating before, they're now more distinct and clear to me. And I'm eager to follow that other road.
  • the  knowledge that we did everything we could in this matter and even a little bit more
  • my sweet Elvin - allways eager to help, making the dishes and emptying and filling the dishwasher day after day.
  • my three big kids taking care of their youngest brother this morning as I had some important long phonecalls to make
  • Timon recovering, getting back his appetite, showing a much better mood today.
  • Staying at home all week during the holidays
  • the joy in filling a trailer with trash from the garden in good company

  3. Guess what! Luck really did turn our way in the very last minute! We're on that first road! I'll write more about it in the future and maybe even start another blog about the project.
